By learning French in a playful and engaging environment with family, children build their language skills, boost their confidence, and find a natural way to connect with the grown-ups in their life in French.

Preschool Admissions Criteria

Children born in 2022 are eligible for Nursery.
Children born in 2021 are eligible for Pre-Kindergarten.
Children born in 2020 are eligible for Kindergarten.

All interested families are encouraged to submit their applications.

The Admission Process

Applications must be completed via our online application portal, and a non-refundable fee of $200 is required to apply.
For families that live in the Greater New York City metropolitan area: All parents/guardians of applicants to Nursery, Pre-Kindergarten, and Kindergarten must come in person to the Lycée for an interview and guided tour of the Primary Division of the school. The interview & tour will take approximately 75 minutes to complete.
For families that live outside of the Greater New York City metropolitan area: All parents/guardians of applicants to Nursery, Pre-Kindergarten, and Kindergarten must participate in a 30 minutes virtual interview.
Save the date! On Friday, January 17, 2025 we will be hosting an in-person preschool evaluation day at the Lycée. Families located outside of the New York Metro area will receive instructions to participate in our remote evaluation process.
The Admission Office is pleased to offer a variety of events to help you get to know our school. Click here to learn more and register for our fall/winter Open Houses and virtual information sessions. Please note that all events are an optional part of the application process.
Admission decisions will be shared during the first week of February 2025.
If your child is accepted, we will ask you to return a signed contract with a non-refundable tuition deposit of $4,000 by the deadline stated in the acceptance letter.
We advise you to apply by Sunday, December 1, 2024, to ensure that your application will be reviewed in January. All required documents must be submitted by Tuesday, December 31, 2024.
